We support you to grow and learn every day, making sure that work brings purpose to your life.By joining our company, every chapter of your story is yours to write and together we can imagine tomorrow's hospitality.Job Summary:This position is responsible for maintaining the entire hotel facility, including the physical building structure, all plant and FF&E, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.Key Responsibilities:Maintain the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure(s) of the hotel and spa.Verify completion of all routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms, ballrooms, outlets, back of the house spaces, and external areas.Assist in hiring, training and development, supervision, and disciplining of all staff in the Engineering Department.Maintain effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs.Inform the General Manager and senior managers on a regular basis regarding the specific and overall condition of the building structure(s), related systems, and equipment.Requirements:Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Construction preferred.Five to seven years in a major hotel, hospital, or building, in a managerial / supervisory capacity.Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
