Position Summary:
In this pivotal role, you will lead the commercial strategy for LKCentrix, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and strengthening key relationships with municipalities. With a wealth of experience in leadership, the CCO will work closely with the executive team, driving the company's business development efforts, revenue strategies, and market positioning.
This position is particularly suited to someone with experience in the information, data and bureau sectors, renowned for driving innovation, customer-centric growth, and strong leadership. With a deep understanding of business pain points and commercial solutions, the ideal candidate will seamlessly align with LKCentrix's vision of achieving revenue excellence through data.
Experience is key: If you have proven experience leading commercial strategies, managing relationships with municipal, public or private sector clients, and driving revenue growth, whether or not you meet specific academic qualifications – your application will be welcomed. Your practical knowledge and hands-on experience will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with LKCentrix's business goals and vision. Leverage existing relationships within the municipal sector to enhance partnerships and secure new business opportunities. Drive revenue growth by identifying emerging opportunities within the data, indigent management, and debt recovery sectors. Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure LKCentrix's services are at the forefront of municipal revenue enhancement. Help lead the team, ensuring that all client-facing departments (sales, marketing, customer success) deliver exceptional service. Introduce new and innovative solutions and pricing models that resonate with municipal clients. Foster a culture of customer-centricity and operational excellence throughout the organisation. Analyse market trends, competitors, and economic conditions to proactively adjust strategies and remain ahead of the curve. Qualifications and Skills:
While formal qualifications (such as a bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field) are beneficial, extensive experience in a senior leadership role may be considered in lieu of formal education. Proven leadership experience as a Chief Commercial Officer, Commercial Director, Customer Engagement Executive or similar role within the credit, private or municipal sector. Deep knowledge of municipal operations, revenue enhancement strategies, and indigent management. Strong network and established relationships within the public and municipal sectors. A history of driving revenue growth through innovative business solutions. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
