DUR002065 – Chemist (Nelspruit)Purpose of the Job:To implement and manage all QC and formulation aspects regarding production, ensuring the legal conformity of activities; and that product registrations are aligned with the Technical Manager with regards to the business strategy of the company.Duties & ResponsibilitiesRequired Qualifications:BSc Degree in ChemistryTechnical Competencies & Experience:Minimum of 4 years working/researching experience in the chemistry and/or agriculture industryDrivers' licenseExperience in Laboratory / QC / ProductionKnowledge of local legislation and legal procedures of Official BodiesKnowledge about the application of the products, composition, and their effectsShow technical support to field salespeople and develop a good rapport with the customer base.Plan, organize, and manage experiments regarding new and improved product formulationsSchedule and execute product-related projects in line with company strategic initiativesSuggest any improvements on formulations, processes, products, or new research lines.Behavioural Competencies:Attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong communication skillsLeadership skillsIMPORTANT: Only shortlisted candidates meeting the above criteria will be considered.
