Chef Tournant / Junior Sous With Drivers License - For Somerset West Luxury Wedding Venue

This award-winning Wedding & Events Catering Company in Somerset West offers top notch function facilities for discerning guests, overseas wedding visitors, and high-profile events. The owner-managed food production and catering team oversees daily prep for a range of functions, both large and small, many of which are on-site while others are hosted at unique destinations throughout the Western Cape.
We are in search of a CHEF TOURNANT / Junior Sous to assist with daily production of all COLD and HOT items and to supervise kitchen operations and set-ups.
Please note that this is NOT a BUFFET MENU PRODUCTION KITCHEN.
REQUIREMENTS:

OWN TRANSPORT with valid driver's license is ESSENTIAL.
Minimum 2 or 3 year recognized professional/formal culinary qualification with 3 years' work experience in a high-pressure fine dining kitchen.
Culinary strengths in Cold & Hot production essential.
A confident personality is needed to handle the fast pace and demands of this kitchen.
Effective communication skills and proficient in English AND Afrikaans with an outgoing and friendly personality.
Must be able to THINK ON YOUR FEET with little time to waste.
Excellent personal hygiene and ability to work cleanly at all times on your section.
