The chef tournant is a floating or relief chef who helps out wherever needed in the kitchen. This chef is supervised by the head chef and can be assigned to perform any cooking task or serve as an intermediary between chefs.
Because the job duties vary, a chef tournant needs knowledge in many areas of the culinary arts, and able to assit at any workstation.
The chef tournant is responsible for supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the main kitchen and Halfway House. With the assistance of management, He / She ensures food quality, production, and adhere to safety management requirements.
