We are looking for a chef/product development professional at our franchise headquarters, overseeing culinary operations across all restaurant locations.Job OverviewThe Chef/Product Developer will be based at the Head Office Test Kitchen in George and will be responsible for;advising shops across the franchise.Have the ability to create menu items and then implement systems for stock management and wastage control.Teach these systems to shop staff in the various shops and to ensure they follow these systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and plan new menu items and specials, ensuring alignment with brand and standards.Provide guidance for franchisees on daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations specific to the ZA region.Create and implement systems for shops to effectively manage stock and control wastage.Work with nationwide suppliers to supply franchisees with the best products at the best prices.Evaluate food products and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.Visit stores to ensure compliance.Implement and monitor food safety protocols to align with local regulations.Oversee the entire Elvis Brew menu and all associated ingredients.Implement systems for our kitchens to ensure they run efficiently.Upkeep of our online recipes and teaching platform.
