Technical Accounting Knowledge International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS): Understanding of IFRS is critical, as these standards govern the preparation of financial statements. Financial Modelling: Ability to build and interpret financial models, especially for budgeting, forecasting, and valuations.
Communication Skills Report Writing: Clear and concise writing skills for drafting reports, board papers, and other professional documents. Presentation Skills: Ability to present financial data and insights effectively to stakeholders Interpersonal Communication: Effective communication ensuring information is accurately conveyed.
Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess complex financial and operational problems and propose practical solutions. Decision-Making: Being able to make informed, timely decisions based on available financial data and business context.
Technical IT Skills Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency in Excel, especially in using formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools for financial analysis. Data Analytics: Basic understanding of data analytics tools and their application in financial decision-making.
