We are looking for a talented Chartered Accountant to join our team and oversee the financial operations across our group of companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Oversee the financial health of all companies within the group, ensuring robust financial planning, management, and reporting.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with South African financial regulations and standards, including the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns.
Auditing: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Strategic Planning: Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team to drive business growth and profitability.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, implementing effective controls and procedures to mitigate potential issues.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a similar role.
Extensive knowledge of South African financial regulations and accounting standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills.
