We are seeking a highly skilled Qualified Chartered Accountant with Group Financial Management experience, to join our clients' dynamic Finance team. Our client is a SME (Small to Medium Enterprise) in the IT industry, with branches in South Africa and the UK.
This exciting opportunity is based in Midrand, Johannesburg
In addition to a CA qualification, you need to have a minimum of 5 years 360-degree financial management, tax and reporting experience, for a multinational where multi-currency and full financial reporting has been the focus
Up to R1.14M + bonus + benefits per annum depending on experience
Main purpose of the role
As the Group Financial Manager you will be assisting the Group Financial Controller, ensuring the financial health is in check and that Finance strategies are met for the Global Group by assisting with budget planning and supports by offering insights and financial advice that will allow the finance department to make the best business decisions for the Global Group.
Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System (IMS) – ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards within the company.

Required minimum education and work experience
CA (SA) preferable
Minimum 5 years relevant financial management experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including designing and presenting pivot tables, reports etc
Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central or similar
Key performance areas
Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the Group globally.
Assist with financial reporting and improving on current financial practises.
Budget control.
Assisting with the Groups compliance to financial regulations and legislation globally.
Daily book entries.
Review of monthly global payrolls

Qualifications
: Preferably a Chartered Accountant (CA) (but candidates with CIMA or ACCA qualification may also be considered depending on experience).

Accounting: Business Central (Microsoft Dynamics).
Reporting: Jet Reporting.
Payroll: Paymaster (South Africa) and Sage People (UK).

Working Hours
:
Generally, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, hybrid with Wednesdays being compulsory
Overtime
:
Required during busy periods such as audits, year-end, and verification processes.
Flexibility needed to work with international teams, considering time differences, especially with the UK and occasionally the US.
Salary up to R90K p/m + benefits + bonus
