JOB TITLE: Channel Marketing Specialist AREA: Pretoria East, Gauteng INDUSTRY: Insurance Salary / CTC: R 492 000 p.a – R 41 000 per month (depending on current earnings, qualifications and experience) Report to: Head of Marketing and Communications Job Summary: The purpose of the role is to build and enhance our Client's mortgage origination and real estate channels' marketing efforts through the implementation of relevant sales and brand building initiatives, to drive sales and enhance brand awareness. The ideal candidate is an experienced mid-weight marketing professional, enthusiastic about new technologies. You will play an integral role in a new way of thinking when it comes to bond consultant and estate agent channel marketing. We are looking for a self-sufficient self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset - someone who always takes ownership and accountability. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and implementing the company's integrated channel marketing operational plan to generate sales and to build the clients brand. Key Responsibilities: Effectively develop and implement data-led brand building plans, based on the marketing strategy, across the distribution channels. Develop appropriate and effective content plans per channel, including design and copy. Measure success of plans and campaigns and provide feedback and insights to develop improvements for future projects. Understand and provide insight into digital - and social media behaviour of the target audience. Perform competitor analysis to inform the brand building and sales plan to stay ahead of competitors. Management and briefing service providers on the creative requirements. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve cooperation. Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislative knowledge. Identify opportunities to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency. Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS A relevant BCom Marketing Degree from a reputable tertiary institution. Minimum 3 to 5 years' hands-on experience in distribution channel marketing. Experience in Financial Service will be advantageous.
