Role Overview: As the Channel Account Manager, you will be the driving force behind our clients partner relationships, working with Distributors, Resellers and other strategic partners to expand market reach and enhance brand visibility.
This role requires an individual with a proven track record in channel management and a good understanding of software sales dynamics.
The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, results-driven, and have a natural ability to connect with and enable channel partners.
Key Responsibilities: Channel Partner Management: Build and maintain relationships with channel partners, recruit and onboard new partners, and serve as their main point of contact.
Sales Enablement and Training: Equip partners with resources, tools, and training to promote and support the companys software solutions.
Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to meet channel sales targets, analyze partner performance, and enhance productivity.
Channel Marketing Support: Collaborate with marketing to create co-marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
Forecasting and Reporting: Track channel sales metrics, report to senior management, and provide insights on market trends and partner needs.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 4 5 years in channel management, sales, or business development within the software industry, with a solid track record of driving revenue.
Skills: Strong relationship-building and account management expertise Excellent communication and presentation skills Knowledge of VAR, MSP, and distributor dynamics Understanding of SaaS or cloud-based solutions Proficiency in CRM software and sales forecasting Location: Northern Suburbs, Johannesburg Set up: Hybrid
