Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for a specified market (global/regional) to improve ABB's market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the related Channel Sales organization.
The work model for the role is: Onsite.
This role is contributing to the Process Automation in Longmeadow.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Implementing the agreed channel sales strategy and budget.Contributing to the identification & achievement of appropriate channels and targets.Contributing to achieving key targets (e.g. volume, prices, mix) for the channel in the specified countries and segments.Creating detailed business plans and implementing actions with regular follow-up.Contributing independently to sales negotiations and negotiating frame agreements.Identifying and evaluating channel partners (as per agreed ABB policies and standards including digital and excitation), together with Sales Director & appointing them.Regularly reporting progress against channel strategy, plans, and budgets.Conducting analyses on channel activity and taking ownership for solving problems.Collaborating with Marketing and Sales teams and executing those activities that require channel/segment partner participation.Implementing the planned communication, promotion, and training activities in the channel/segment.Driving strategic partnerships and developing personal relationships with partners, customers, and other decision makers.Qualifications for the roleBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing.5 - 10 years' experience in Process Automation and exposure to working with Channel Partners.Strong experience in Energy and Process Industries.Proficiency in MS Office.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Preference will be given to EE candidates.More about usWe value people from different backgrounds.
