Cell-Leader (Supervisor)

Report to Head of Production Job Duties And Responsibilities (Summary):Manage the assigned production facility to the required Health, Safety and Environmental standards. Manage and improve the assigned production facility to meet all the Power Cable requirements. Manage and improve the utilization of section resources to optimum efficiency levels and customer delight through the achievement of generated production plans. Control and manage stock within the division on a monthly basis. Schedule production with regard to machine availability, reliability, and capacity as per customer specifications. Review and align daily plan performance according to the production plan. Solve day-to-day production problems efficiently. Be involved in training inexperienced operators. Achieve daily output and targets.Minimum Requirements:Grade 12/ Matric with Mathematics or Science would be an advantage.Basic knowledge of computer packages.Must be willing to work rotating shifts and overtime.Power Cable manufacturing will be an advantage.Skills and Abilities:Self-Motivated.Good communication and leadership skills.Attention to details.Able to multi-task.Good time management skills.Must be trustworthy and have the ability to work under pressure.
