Medipost Pharmacy is seeking to recruit a CDU Stock Administrator for the Chronic Dispensing Unit which is being conducted for the Department of Health in the Western.Job SpecificationAssist in daily warehouse receiving and distribution areasEnsure stock is safely and correctly stored awayReceiving of incoming stock and routing to appropriate areaFiling of stock orders from productionAccurately log inventory transactionsDo cycle counts and reconciliation activitiesAccurately and timely complete instructions for all tasksComply with company policies and safety regulationsOperate forklift/walk-behind or man-on stacker/turret truck and/or pallet jackAccurately pick orders from pick listsReplenish the Auto Dispensing Unit (ADU) to meet operational demandsBulk picking in preparation for the following day's dispensingReplenish stock continuously to ensure uninterrupted dispensing on the ADUReplenish stock on the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) principles to eliminate stock write-offs as a result of expiryVerify stock expiry dates and escalate variances to immediate supervisorAttend and participate in daily/weekly team meetingsAdhere to good housekeeping practicesAccurate reporting of errorsTime & attendance according to company policiesSpecific Requirements/Other Important InformationAbility to prioritize large workloadAbility to maintain policy guidelines in pressured situationsAbility to act independentlyAbility to accept and take charge of projects allocated on short noticeWillingness to work overtime during high-pressure periodsRequirements:MatricLearner Basic / Qualified Basic1 - 2 years' experience in warehouse, stock control, stock levels, replenishment, etc.Registered at SAPCExcellent communication skills: both written and verbalCritical Thinking: Devise plans of action and assess regularlyStrong organizing and prioritizing skillsNumeracy: ability to make calculations, estimates, dimensional weight, etc.Physical agility: Ability to lift heavy loadsSelf-Motivated and Results Oriented"Medipost Holdings is committed to the promotion of employment equity within the workplace which is a driving factor in all recruitment decisions.
