Candidate Requirements:

Must have a Cooking qualification
A qualification in Hospitality is advantageous
Should have good knowledge of different dietary requirements
Must be presentable with excellent communication skills
Should have great time keeping, the ability to multitask and work quickly
Should have good attention to detail
Must have a creative flare, a genuine passion for cooking and coming up with new ideas
Should have and, follow excellent hygiene practices
Must have basic computer skills
Should be confident engaging with guests during mealtimes to discuss menus, ensure satisfaction, and provide feedback to the Head of Department and Management

Basic Duties:
Ensure all meals, smoothies, snacks, and platters are prepared and presented according to established standards, meeting all dietary requirements.
Work hygienically and ensure that all cooking and service areas, including the boma and buffet, are clean and ready for guests.
Monitor stock levels, check in orders, and ensure storerooms are organized and tidy.
Adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring rubbish is disposed of correctly and kosher kitchen rules are followed.
Contribute creative ideas to the Executive Chef and assist with various tasks such as stock-taking, basic computer work, and supporting scullers as needed.

This is a live-in position
Package: R8kpm (Negotiable DOE), uniform and provident after 3 months


Nominal Salary: From R 8000 To R 8000
