Job DescriptionYou will have working experience in the engineering development, design and construction of a range of concrete & structural steel, building projects (Commercial Buildings, Retail, Warehouses, Office Complexes)You will be able to plan and execute structural drafting assignments reinforced concrete & structural steel.You will be responsible for reviewing the work of Junior Draftspersons and provide feedback.Ensure projects are documented within guidelines set by supervisorProduce efficient, high quality drawings and documentationQuality audit on outgoing drawingsParticipating in office technical discussions and project delivery meetingsCoordination of multi-disciplinary work on projectsCommunicate with clients, suppliers and other officesPrepare bills of quantitiesCompile reinforcing bending schedulesAssist Engineers with research and innovationAssist Project Managers and engineers with site queries and reporting solutionsQualifications Drafting Diploma would be idealSkills5+ years experience as detailed in the job descriptionValid drivers licence.3D modelling and the creation of construction drawingsMust be proficient in Autodesk Revit or MicroStation and AutoCad 3DBIM 360Salary / PackageNeg to R600k.
