About the job Caterpillar Forklift MechanicPosition to be based in Luanda, AngolaKey purpose:The specialist Caterpillar Forklift Repair Technician will report to the Workshop Manager and will be responsible for training and managing the maintenance team dedicated to trucks and trailers.
He will be responsible for the team's performance in this area and for the organization of the area, means and activities.
The position is based in Luanda, Angola.Duties and responsibilities:Diagnose and repair engine, hydraulic system and other forklift component problemsPlan and perform preventive maintenance on equipmentDevelop and maintain records of preventive maintenance and repairs.Organize tasks, priorities and area of actionBuild and lead teamsCommunicate effectively in verbal and written formQualifications and experience:Minimum experience of 8 years in diagnosis and repair of Caterpillar forklift trucks of different sizes and capacitiesPossess required license and certificatesProficiency in handling diagnostic equipment and software and test equipmentAbility to read and follow instructions, manuals, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical schematicsDetect skills deficits and propose training plans
