Our client is looking for a Catering Manager to lead a team of kitchen staff at a private school in Pietermaritzburg, KZN.Key Requirements:A Grade 12At least 5 (five) years' experience working in a similar position or environmentSkilled and passionate about food, upmarket functions, baking and preparation of foodMust be able to assist with menu development and function menusUnderstanding of costings, ordering and management of stockDelegates and leads a team efficiently, has a good understanding of HR related mattersA clear understanding of the importance of HSE and implementation thereofAble to work well under pressureAttention to detail – especially when it comes to quality and presentation of mealsAble to work long hours, weekends, and shift workOwn vehicleMust be computer literate
