Category Manager Assistant - JHB (Dependant on Experience) To fully support the Category Manager in an administrative role with regards to the purchasing of products to ensure that the company operational needs are met, considering price, quality, delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.
Placing replenishment orders with various suppliers and following up and ensuring orders arrive on time Responsible for creating Purchase Orders for these orders and for placing and maintaining these orders on Syspro Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating the Orders Schedule with all relevant information Responsible for following the Company Quality Control Procedures for all products and for overseeing the Quality Control Processes for suppliers and products as required Responsible for ensuring that Orders ship on time from suppliers Responsible for opening files for each Order Responsible for giving the final approval for goods to ship Responsible for bi-monthly liaison with suppliers to ensure that they are on track with every Order Responsible for the approval of packaging and shipping marks Responsible for obtaining all required Shipping Documentation timeously and for the preparation of Clearing Documentation Responsible for ensuring that all Orders arrive on time, as per the Demand Planner's request and for Campaigns as planned Responsible for coordinating and tracking product samples and ensuring they are received in a timely manner Responsible for assisting with all samples of products, which are to be correctly labelled and kept as reference samples, as well as the packing and couriering of samples to supplier and the managing of samples required for product photography.
Responsible for maintaining and updating the Payment Schedule for the payment of deposits and Balances of all Orders and for ensuring that these payments are made on time.
Responsible for assisting with proofing of monthly price lists, specials and catalogues Responsible for keeping track of all components that are required for Orders Experience on Excel & Syspro Excellent attention to detail   PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR CV IN A WORD FORMAT INCLUDING A PHOTO.
