Job DescriptionThe cashier will ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer transactions while delivering exceptional customer service.
The cashier will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of handling payments, resolving customer inquiries, and promoting the company's range of products.Key ResponsibilitiesManage transactions with customers using cash registers.Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.Collect payments via cash or credit.Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.Cross-sell products and introduce new ones to customers.Resolve customer complaints, provide guidance, and relevant information.Greet customers when entering or leaving the store.Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.Bag, box, or gift-wrap packages.Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.Assist in other areas of the store as needed.RequirementsMatric/ Grade 12 (NSC)Degree / or Diploma in Finance or Accounting (Advantageous)A minimum of 2 – 3 years' experienceComputer LiterateAttention to detailExceptional Customer Service
