Job Title: Cashbook & Grants Accountant
Organisational Unit: University of Mpumalanga -> Finance -> Revenue & Expenditure
Job Primary Purpose: The purpose of this post is to ensure efficient capturing and allocation of all receipts and payments at UMP for all bank accounts, investment accounts and conditional grants.
Key Performance Areas:

Cashbook processing and reconciliation.
Investments processing and reconciliation.
Conditional grant transactions processing.
Processing and reconciliation of petty cash and credit cards.

Minimum Requirements:

M+3, Bachelors Degree Accounting or equivalent.
4 years' experience in cashbook investments & grants.
Experience in Higher Education would be an added advantage.
Time management.
Ability to communicate in verbal and written format.
Reporting.
