Cashbook Controller

Description Experienced Cashbook Controller required to join high volume, fast paced Finance Shared Services team. You will be responsible for cashbook and other settlement control functions within the Group. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in finance, ideally in a cashbook controller role. ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and Reconcile bank statementAnalyse and Reconcile bank cashbookAnalyse and Reconcile cash suspenseBalance SL and GL, resolve any remaining reconciling variancesFinalise monthly consolidated bank reconciliationEngage effectively with relevant stakeholders (Accountants, banks, sales teams, account payable, accounts receivable etc)RequirementsEducation and Experience requirements:MatricRelevant Tertiary qualification (BCom degree)3+ years experience in a cashbook role (we may consider credit controller or accounts payable experience if strong knowledge of day to day problem solving and reconciliations)Required Competencies:CommunicationComputer literate and good Excel skillsAttention to detailTime management and prioritisationService focusFlexibilityDisciplined approachEfficiencyProactively identify risks
