Cashbook Administrator

Exceptional opportunity for a strong Cashbook Administrator to join a solid finance team, who are part of a large group of companies.
This role suits a candidate with strong cashbook and reconciliations skills.
This is an end-to-end cashbook focused role and you'll be needing to have a tight grip on the cashbook function.

Responsibilities: Sustain bank signatory lists across the businessProcess payments on the banking systemPrepare and distribute monthly cashflow reportsReconcile all bank accounts monthly, explain any outstanding items Capture month end journals Reconcile Balance sheet accounts Post monthly interest on bank account for individual business units Maintain prepayments scheduleMaintain schedule of subscriptionsMaintain fixed asset registerAssist with annual external audits, answer any questions raised for cash or bank Assist Management and Financial Accountants Implement and maintain internal financial controls and proceduresRequirements: Minimum of a completed tertiary qualification National Diploma minimumSolid understanding of debtors, revenue business cycle, and relevant accounting and tax principlesPrevious experience within asset management, financial services will be an advantage, although not as essentialBe pro-active in solving issues, and improving processesStrong MS Office, Excel and Word skills, Accpac software package a plusPlease note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
