An exciting opportunity to join us as a Vendor Cash Management Administrator on a 6-Month Contract to ensure the effective execution of vendor payments, reconciliation of bank accounts and the timeous resolution of any open items.

As the Cash Management Administrator, you will ensure the execution of all bank reconciliations.
More of your responsibilities will include:
Conduct all vendor payments based on an approved funding proposal.
Ensure timeous receipt and approval of vendor funding proposals.
Ensure verification of high value invoices and banking account details
Execute all vendor payment schedules accurately and timeously
Timeous and successful release of vendor payments
Manage the creation of manual payments e.g. SARS
Investigate and close out queries related to rejected, unpaid payments, blocked payments or other vendor exceptions
Conduct selected reconciliations and clearing of Non-PO vendors
Identify opportunities and trends for improving processes related to vendor payments
Prepare journals accurately and timeously
Assist the Supervisor to pro-actively meet targets and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, audits, and attestation
Collaborate with all stakeholders to meet targets e.g. Accounts Payable and Treasury
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, audits, and attestation
Execution of specified bank reconciliations
Accurate and timeous clearing of matching open items
Investigate and timeous resolution of uncleared and residual open line items
Accurate and timeous reconciliation/analysis of specified bank accounts
Identify and review any trends related to bank reconciliations
Qualifications
Matric
Diploma/ Degree in Finance or related field
Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a financial services field
Experience working with commercial banks (Advantageous)
Additional Information
International Financial Reporting Standards
Protection of Personal Information Act, No 4 of 2013
Emerging knowledge of applicable finance systems, specifically SAP S4
Emerging knowledge of bank interfaces
Emerging understanding of applicable financial controls
Basic knowledge of financial services processes
