FCSReporting to the Cash Centre Manager The above position is vacant at our Parow Branch. The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that all deposits have been processed as per the agreement between parties. The Supervisor makes sure that there is a consistent, high quality counting and verification service provided by all relevant staff.Minimum Requirements:Clear criminal recordGrade 12 or equivalentComputer literateAt least 2 years' cash centre experience or similar roleTreasury experience is an advantageAble to work under pressure and multitaskMust be able to work extra hours when neededMust be able to address and resolve challenges which may ariseJob Specification:Opening and closing of Cash Centre where applicableEnsure that Standard Operational procedures are adhered toCounting and verifying moneyBalancing and reconciling moneyRe-counting of money if differences occurEnsure daily reports and statistics are up to dateEnsure that all relevant documents are complete, neat and filedEnsure all schedules balance with physical countEnsure registers are used and signed for dailyEnsure incident reports are handled as requiredEnsure all client queries are dealt with in a professional manner and timeouslyEnsure client satisfaction is top priorityEnsure basic discipline is enforced within the Cash CentreAccountable for Cash Centre appointed to him/her if no managerOther Personality Attributes and core competencies: Must be honest and reliableMust have good verbal and language abilitiesAble to follow instructions accuratelyPay attention to detailMust be self- motivatedWilling to work overtimeAlertnessPossess numeric skillsAccuracyQuality assuranceCustomer focusedExcellent organisation and planning abilityTeam workWe reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.Whilst preference is given to existing employees at all times and the choice made is purely on merit, Historically Disadvantaged Candidates and Black Female Candidates are encouraged and supported in the FSG team.
