Requirements: Matric Grade 12, Finance Degree or Diploma Non-negotiable. (Please attach all qualifications) 5 years proven experience in financial accounting/ reporting, with financial regulations Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to develop effective working relationships across the organisation and with outside vendors and partners Sound organisational skills and good time management Creative problem-solving skills Excellent analytical skills to identify errors or discrepancies in financial records Ability to interpret financial data to support strategic decision-making Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping Ability to work in a methodical manner, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines Ability to prioritize and work with multiple responsibilities Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment across a diverse staff of all levels High degree professionalism and personal integrity to maintain confidentiality and data privacy best practices Commitment to upholding ethical accounting standards Proficiency in using accounting software Accpac/Sage and MS Office (especially Excel) is a must Responsibilities: Ensuring effective management and maintenance of the Cashbook Processing of all cash book entries from the bank statement Ensuring the payments to International Creditors are made timeously, accurately and within specified timeframes Monitor group cash flows and ensure compliance of mandatory requirements from all commercial banks Maintaining general financial functions Live up to the 4 Racing professional standards Perform ad-hoc responsibilities in line with operational requirements as assigned NB.
