Cash And Carry Assistant

Our client is looking for a dedicated Cash and Carry Assistant to support the efficiency and productivity of their store. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service, managing financial tasks, and assisting with stock and administration. Responsibilities: Provide exceptional service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Assist in achieving the Cash and Carry store's sales budget. Handle financial tasks such as cash management and processing banking slips. Perform general administrative duties, including managing Purchase Orders, courier slips, filing, and updating spreadsheets. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store (housekeeping). Assist with stock counts and inventory management. Step in for the Supervisor when needed. Handle switchboard/reception duties as required. Be willing to work overtime and Saturdays when necessary. Key Skills: Strong customer service and communication abilities. Good organizational and administrative skills. Basic sales knowledge and financial administration experience (advantageous). Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple tasks. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and ERP systems (advantageous). Fluent in English and Afrikaans. Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience within a retail branch.
