We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter Supervisor to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of carpenters, providing guidance and support as needed.
Plan and coordinate carpentry projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using rulers, pencils, chalk, and marking gauges.
Cut, shape, and join materials using hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and sanders.
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim.
Inspect and ensure the quality of work performed by the team.
Train and mentor new carpenters on the team.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Communicate with project managers and other team members to provide updates on project progress.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
Knowledge of maritime safety regulations is an asset.
