The ideal candidate would be responsible for: Full responsibility for all labour related issues including, ensuring that All positions are managed at all times. Dealing with all disciplinary matters appropriately and according to the  Company's disciplinary code. Full control of the canteen  processes and responsibility for maintaining canteen Standards. Planning, organizing and monitoring the day to day operations of the Canteen and Laundry including daily record keeping. Prepare and present quality food for the staff and company visitors within the company's guidelines and catering for company functions. Continued interaction and communication with all senior management. Managing canteen budget. Maintaining and implementing 20 keys principles including Health & Safety of the department. Adhering to Astral ethics policy.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements: A Matric Certificate / Equivalent. 2 – 3 years' experience in a canteen and production environment. Good supervisory and interpersonal skills. Must be computer literate. Must have Administrative skill. Events co-ordination and planning. Must be able to work independently and cope well under pressure. Manage staff professionally and lead by example.
