Candidate Attorney

Inherent requirements:• LLB Degree (completed) • Knowledge of relevant legal and statutory requirements• Good understanding of Debt Collection Procedure from beginning to warrant of execution• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)• Computer literate (MS Office) advanced• Willing to work after hours as per demand of businessDuties and responsibilities: • Drafting and preparation of legal documents, letters, pleadings, notices, etc.• Attend Court as and when necessary to assist with issuing, serving and filing • Prepare briefs for counsel• Indexing and paginating office and court files if necessary• Assistance in litigation, labour, Commercial, liquidation and Business Rescue procedure matters together with general legal matters as and when required• Ensure confidentiality, discretion and integrity • Execution of all tasks and/or functions generally associated with that of an article clerk
