As the Campus Bursar, your duties and responsibilities could include the following:Reconcile fundraising accrualsReview internal controls to avoid financial riskResponsibly approve spending by drawing up budgetsAnalyze monthly management accounts and investigate variancesDrive and manage the annual opex and capex budget process at the instituteSchedule monthly meetings with designated brand accountantsDrive cost savings and efficienciesAim to achieve 100% or more of the EBIT targetOversee the finance operations of the campusSend invoices and monthly statements to third party customersPromptly attend to queriesTrain staff on the procurement policiesWeekly review of GSS payment schedules to confirm that all payments have been actionedAttend monthly debtors meetingsMonitor inactive accounts to ensure proper process are followedFinancial reporting and month-end closingCapex requisitions Skills & Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance roleStrong understanding of accounting systemsAbility to function in a high-pressured environment Qualification:Completed SAIPA articlesRelevant finance or Accounting degreeMatric (Grade 12) Contact JENELLE COOKSON on
