Job & Company Descriptions A JSE listed company that leads the private sector in the fields of education and resourcing is seeking the professional experience of an Accountant . The accountant will be responsible for providing efficient and effective accounting services and cost control. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the following: Creditors, including preparing reconciliations (assisting in full function) Debtors, including processing invoices and then performing the recovery monthly invoices (assisting with full function) Month End processes Full control of Fixed Assets Year-end audit and preparation of the audit file Costing and control Preparing monthly management accounts Calculation of depreciation Managing provisions and accruals Processing Journals (including Payroll related journals) Preparing of payments lists and requisitions Income tax and vat submission (communication with the SARS to resolve any tax complication) Ad hoc duties Qualifications: Completed Bcom in Finance. Completed SAIPA articles would be beneficial Skills: 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role Attention to detail
