Key Performance Areas:
As the Camp Manager, you will work closely with the Assistant or Lodge Manager to support the daily operations of the lodge. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting housekeeping checks to meet set standards.
Supervising restaurant operations during meal times to ensure top-notch service.
Ensuring meal quality before they leave the kitchen.
Managing guest check-ins and check-outs, fulfilling requests, and ensuring their needs are met throughout their stay.
Liaising with the hospitality manager and reservations team to report any anomalies and suggest improvements.
Completing stock counts and preparing weekly and monthly reports.
Minimum Criteria Required:
Qualification: Hotel Management Diploma/Certificate or equivalent.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in Front of House or a similar position at a 4/5-star establishment.
Competencies Required:
Well-spoken and presentable with excellent customer focus.
Proficient in MS Office (intermediate Excel); knowledge of LIGHTSPEED and PROTEL is advantageous.
Strong guest relations skills with knowledge of hosting/butler services.
A valid driver's license is essential.
A keen eye for detail and common sense, along with good knowledge of food and beverage service, housekeeping, and front office operations.
