This combined role requires a meticulous, team-oriented individual who is committed to maintaining quality standards in document management, AutoCAD drafting, and project support while developing proficiency in solar design and engineering tools.Requirements: Skills and Qualifications: 2 to 3 years of experience in CAD or similar roles, with a focus on AutoCAD proficiency.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow precise protocols.Basic understanding of engineering principles and a willingness to expand knowledge in engineering sciences and technology.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and reasoning skills; ability to work effectively as part of a team.Eagerness to learn additional software relevant to project design and drafting, including Helioscope, PV Case, PV Cad, and PVsyst.Key Responsibilities: Index Control and Document Management: Organize, index, and maintain project documents for easy access and accuracy, following company protocols for document naming, indexing, and version tracking.Monitor document revisions, ensuring the latest versions are available and accessible to team members.Maintain accurate logs of documentation updates, ensuring consistency across all project files.Support document requests, helping team members locate and retrieve files as needed.AutoCAD Drafting and CAD Support: Create, update, and modify AutoCAD drawings, working under senior team guidance and ensuring adherence to drafting standards.Interpret project specifications and assist in translating them into accurate technical drawings.Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure they meet project and regulatory standards.Complete interconnection drawings, single line diagrams (SLDs), bid sets, construction sets, and as-built drawings for solar and engineering projects.Maintain proficiency in AutoCAD and other software (Helioscope, PV Case, PV Cad, PVsyst) used in project designs.Design and Project Support: Develop designs aligned with project requirements, optimizing layouts to reduce installation and construction costs.Prepare initial Helioscope designs for client review and clean raw data from site monitoring portals for engineering analysis.Assist in commissioning verification checks on projects, preparing handover documents for clients.Provide feedback and technical insights to project managers, engineers, and sales teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.Stay updated on industry trends and products, delivering monthly tech reviews to senior management and team members.Quality Control and General Project Support: Ensure documentation and drawings meet established quality standards, supporting quality assurance efforts across all projects.Work with the Procurement Officer to identify and specify products that meet project requirements.Attend client meetings and presentations during the sales cycle as needed, representing the technical aspects of project proposals.
