We are seeking a strong intermediate .Net (C#) Azure Developer to join one of our project teams. The successful person will be responsible for developing, unit-testing and deploying C# Azure Functions under guidance of an Architect (or senior developer). The developer will also be responsible for updating and expanding .Net-based (C#) Restful API's that integrate with the customer's ERP system via its own Rest API end points.Skills and ExperienceWhat you'll do:Develop, test, deploy applications, Azure Functions and API's as described above.Cooperate with project team members such as architect or development lead, business analyst and project manager to ensure our output is aligned to requirements and of high quality.Proper source control and unit testing.Ensure that solutions are developed in line with best practices, company guidelines, requirements and input from our senior technical colleagues (architect, etc.).Support project team's functional testing process and customer UAT process.Your expertise:Strong intermediate 5+ years working experience as a .Net Developer.Required skills:Extensive .Net C# capabilities.Entity Framework and RESTful API's.Writing Azure Functions.Basic Azure technical knowledge (web applications, networking, etc.)Basic relational database skills, SQL and Azure SQL / SQL ServerThe following development patterns: Factory pattern, CQRS pattern, MediatR pattern (SignalR).Hangfire background jobs and workers.OtherOther information applicable to the opportunity:Initial contract positionLocation: Cape Town or Johannesburg (hybrid way of work)Why work for us?Want to work for an organization that solves complex real-world problems with innovative software solutions?
