Introduction:
Our client supplies industrial equipment to their clients and manages the installation, maintenance and repairs on these equipment as well as the automation, technology control and combustion. They require the skills of a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer/Storeman to manage inventory, procure materials, and provide accurate quotations for spare parts to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with suppliers and clients.

Matric / Grade 12Certification in supply chain management or procurement.Experience in the stores management within the engineering, and manufacturing industry.3-5 years' experience within the store management area.Proven experience as a Buyer, Storeman, or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to prepare accurate and competitive quotations.Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office.Ability to unpack packages from suppliers, package items to be shipped out to the clients lift and organizing the store area.Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records.Conduct regular stock checks and audits.Ensure optimal stock levels to meet business needs.Procurement: Source and purchase materials and spare parts.Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers.Evaluate supplier performance and maintain a preferred supplier list.Client Quotations: Prepare and provide accurate quotations for spare parts to clients.Respond to client inquiries and provide product information.Follow up on quotations and convert them into sales.Logistics: Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.Ensure timely delivery of materials to the required locations.Manage returns and exchanges of defective or incorrect items.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.Prepare regular reports on inventory status, procurement activities, and client quotations.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Key Attributes:
