Buyer/Procurement Assistant

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is an advantage.At least 5 years of experience in a similar import / export role working with many products (e.g.
over 1,000 SKUs), suppliers and industry players across the supply chain.
Computer literate (Excellent Excel skills)Netstock or similar forecasting system experience is important.Experience in the beauty or FMCG industry.Pastel experience is an advantage.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes.Manage the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance.Ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained by implementing inventory management policies and procedures.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs to measure supply chain performance.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.Locate vendors of materials, equipment, or supplies, and set up interviews with them and the HOD to discuss future business.
