Key duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Inventory Management: • Oversee inventory in line with company guidelines and methodologies.
• Maintain accurate and updated inventory records within ERP and ordering systems.
• Monitor product codes to identify discrepancies, ensuring physical inventory aligns with master data in ERP.
• Analyse inventory levels and adjust to meet demand while reducing backorders and excess stock.
Procurement & Supplier Coordination: • Prepare, generate, and review purchase orders using the purchasing system.
• Execute approved purchase orders with shipping and suppliers, expediting overdue orders as needed.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers, ensuring cost effectiveness and supplier reliability.
• Source and evaluate local alternatives to enhance supply chain resilience.
Spares Management: • Respond to sales and workshop enquiries regarding ETAs, pricing, lead times, alternatives, exploded diagrams, and buyouts.
• Maintain accurate spare parts product information, such as exploded diagrams, on internal servers and online platforms.
• Understanding sales and repair rates of items to inform purchasing and inventory decisions.
Collaboration & Reporting: • Develop and maintain strong relationships with workshops, warehouses, suppliers, customer service, and sales teams.
• Generate operational and strategic reports to support decision-making for internal and external stakeholders.
• Update ETAs in ERP and ensure supplier adherence to agreed delivery times and specifications.
System Optimisation: • Enhance processes, systems, and reporting tools to drive supply chain efficiency and meet strategic goals.
• Maintain and optimise ERP systems and tools for effective planning and replenishment.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in inventory planning systems.
