The Buyer for Men's and Boyswear will be responsible for selecting, sourcing, and purchasing products that meet the company's target market preferences and align with the brand's values. The successful candidate will have strong negotiation skills, an eye for fashion trends, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. This role requires a balance of creativity, financial acumen, and an understanding of consumer behaviour.Key Responsibilities:Source and select menswear and boys wear products that reflect the company's brand and customer preferences.Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and new brands that could be added to the product line.Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and contracts to achieve favourable outcomes.Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock based on sales performance and seasonal demand.Collaborate with merchandising, design, and marketing teams to align product offerings with sales strategies and promotional campaigns.Analyse sales data to identify best-sellers and underperforming items, making necessary adjustments to the buying strategy.Attend trade shows, supplier meetings, and fashion events to stay updated on industry trends and new product offerings.Ensure all products meet the company's quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.Report regularly on sales performance, market trends, and buying strategies to senior management.
