Buyer

The successful candidate will be responsible for the sourcing of raw materials.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Gather data and prepare negotiations in terms of content and organizational aspects;
Research suppliers and raw materials;
Compare prices and assist in the maintenance of price tools in consultation with the (lead) buyers;
Send out contracts, check order confirmations and inform the lead buyer responsible of the changes, if necessary;
Prepare, create, maintain and track contracts in SAP;
Create and maintain supplier and material master data;
Carry out efficient and effective sample management;
Carry out administrative processing procedures for complaints, in consultation with the (lead) buyers;
Responsible for procurement of raw material/packaging;
Generate Purchase Orders, and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery;
Expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems;
Coordinate with the Planning team for material planning & accurate projection;
Coordinate with accounts for Payments to Vendors;
Fully leverage existing procurement strategies, contracts and relationships;
Build strategic relationships with key suppliers;
