Our client has an EE opportunity available for a Buyer.Requirements:MatricDiploma in Purchasing Management.
A Bachelor's degree would be preferred.6+ years in a Technical Buying environment.Driver's license is essential.
Responsibilities:Facilitate sea, air and inland shipping and coordinate deliveries that includes sea, air & inland shipping.Ensure that all relevant Shipping Documents are received from Suppliers.Manage the R2P process by monitoring the ageing of the opening orderbook.Ensure correct Procurement strategy to be followed,Meet B-BBEE and Local Supplier targets and understand the criteria for B-BBEE.Ensure newly sourced suppliers meet B-BBEE compliance.Compliance to the Medius and company Supplier Portal.Expediting of delivery of purchase orders.
