Key Responsibilities: Source and procure goods and services in alignment with company policies and requirements. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible agreements. Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and alternative sourcing options. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain accurate records of purchases. Collaborate with various departments to forecast purchasing needs and manage inventory levels effectively. Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of a National Diploma is required. Proven experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Agent, or in a similar procurement role. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management practices. Solid understanding of supply chain procedures and inventory management. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
