Role: Buyer Position: Stationery and Office Equipment - Buyer Location: Durban Start Date: Immediate Minimum Qualifications: Matric Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management / Sales Min 3 years experience industry related Pastel Accounting Skills Required: Creative flair Numerate with highly commercial approach Excellent interpersonal skills Accurate Punctual Strong negotiator Systems literate Ability to influence Attention to detail Roles and Responsibilities Source new brands and product in line with our clients strategy through knowledge and expertise of the products and market Negotiate the best possible terms with suppliers i.e. margin, trade discounts, markdown support, marketing contribution and sell through agreements. Ensure that Buying decisions are based on a sound commercial framework to drive sales and profit. Compete to be the first to market with new and exclusive brands & products and devise the launch strategy with the retail outlets Responsible for range planning.
