JOYA BRANDS is looking for a dynamic, and ambitious individual to join the Procurement Department.
Location: Atlantis – Western Cape Reporting to : Procurement Manager Requirements of the Role: Roles and Responsibilities: Loading POs, managing delivery of the right product, right quality, right price, right quantity and right place.
Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Ensure supplier pricelists are well maintained and accurate pricing updated on POs.
Make certain of PO prices and invoice accuracy.
Support the Procurement Manager to negotiate improved terms and pricing with suppliers.
Assist the Procurement Manager to manage and build strong supplier relationships.
Assist the Procurement Manager with identifying and sourcing new products and potential suppliers.
Communicate weekly data reports to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with production planning team to meet sales forecast.
Support the Procurement Manager with market research on latest industry trends.
Support the business (Operations, Marketing and Sales team) in delivering a world class customer experience.
Support the Procurement Manager in daily tasks and updates .
Requirements of the Role: Qualification: Grade 12 Degree or Higher Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Logistics Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the Procurement.
Skills/Competencies Required: Strong Analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent organisational skills Proactive and able to work efficiently and independently.
Strong data comprehension to inform decisions, identify root cause and resolve problems.
Comfortable with change and an excellent team player Strong communication skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Strong relationship management Experience working on SYSPRO/Evolution/SAP ERP systems.
