Butchery Specialist

Butchery Specialist required for a renowned retail store based in Mthatha Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Perform precise butchery tasks including cutting, deboning, trimming, and portioning meat cuts.Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the butchery area.Ensure meat products are stored and handled according to safety and quality regulations.Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and offering recommendations.Collaborate with team members to manage inventory and order supplies as needed.Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Butchery Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of meat cutting and preparation techniques.Knowledge of meat quality, cuts, and proper handling procedures.Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.Ability to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
