Business Unit Director - FreelancerDo you live and breathe digital, especially social media? Are you a strategic leader with a passion for exceeding client expectations? VML South Africa seeks an experienced BUD to lead a team and manage a portfolio of clients, driving growth through innovative digital strategies.
You will: Be the primary client contact, building strong relationships and exceeding expectations.Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies, with a strong focus on social media.Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team.Manage budgets, ensure profitability, and identify new business opportunities.You have: 3-5 years experience as a BUD (agency experience essential).Proven success managing clients and teams.Deep understanding of digital marketing, especially social media.Experience with retail clients and media chase lists is highly desirable.Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.Have a sound Social Media background and knowledge on using social media for brand awareness and impressions in order to manage the clients' expectations.Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.Used to high volume and very quick turnaround times.At VML, we are committed to fostering an all-inclusive work environment that is both rewarding and career-forward.
