Business Systems Engineer

Our client, Nodatech, is a fast-growing startup in the agricultural industry. They are seeking a highly motivated Business Systems Engineer to join their dynamic and innovative team based in Citrusdal, Western Cape. This role will play a critical part in analysing, designing, and implementing business systems. The ideal candidate should be a strong problem-solver with great attention to detail who can function effectively in a fast paced environment. The ability to work collaboratively and excellent communication skills are further requirements. Duties will include: Utilise appropriate tools to solve system problems and support data-driven decision-making Plan, develop, and implement new systems to enhance existing processes Participate in system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging Manage relationships with various stakeholders and engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects Design and implement system integrations to ensure seamless communication between different software platforms and tools Analyse data, generate insightful reports, and create visuals to help the business make informed, data-driven decisions All other tasks related to this position. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; Understanding of system design and development; Exposure to supply chain concepts and business operations would be beneficial; Experience with Excel, Mendix and Power BI will be advantageous; Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English); Own drivers license and reliable transport; Willingness to travel.
