IntroductionThe primary goal is to assess business requirements and make evidence-based recommendations to support business process improvements. The role includes the following responsibilities:
Analyse and compare the AS IS and TO BE Business Processes to identify gaps and change impacts.Monitor, measure, and improve TO BE Processes during the Expansion Phases of the projects.Expected deliverables include:Activity-level Business Process Maps and RACIAS IS and TO BE Comparison MatrixGap and Change Impact AssessmentsKey Responsibilities: Analyse the AS IS WILO (Week in the Life of).Identify and resolve any WILO gaps.Map AS IS Processes and WILO to User Stories.Participate in High Level Design.Collaborate with IT BPAs.Design TO BE Activity-level Business Processes.Define Activity RACI.Compare AS IS Processes and TO BE Processes to identify gaps and change impacts.Support design of TO BE WILO.Collaborate with Transformation and Training.Conduct feedback cycles with Users to drive continuous improvement.Develop monitoring and measuring tracking tools to support continuous improvement.Assess current system-based processes to identify opportunities for simplification.Identify innovative solutions for processes end-to-end for each product area to enhance the customer shopping experience and improve store productivity.Identify opportunities to enable processes using technology and involve stores in the development of new processes and methods.Identify trends and issues with respect to process compliance and ensure appropriate actions are designed and implemented to improve compliance.FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES Data AnalysisProcess MappingGap AnalysisImpact AssessmentPERSONAL COMPETENCIES Analytical mind-setCritical thinkerAttention to detailAbility to be flexibleRelevant 3-year tertiary or NQF aligned qualificationExperience with large, fast-paced, interdependent projectsWorking knowledge of relevant methodology and tools (e.g., Process modelling tools and methodologies)Relevant retail industry experienceWoolworths store experience and understanding of store processes advantageous"As a proud South African brand, Woolworths is committed to transformation.
