DescriptionOur client is a leading full services legal firm.RequirementsBachelor's Degree (3 years) / NQF level 7 in Finance and Accounting or relevant qualificationUp to 5 years of relevant experienceResponsibilitiesResponsible for developing and improving finance management reporting, forecasting, analysis, and critical insights about the profitability and financial performance of the Practice Groups, clients, matters, products processes, sectors, regions, and systems within the firmAssist in the budget/forecasting planning and implementation with respective business unit head/leaderSupport management decision-making with financial modelling and feasibility studiesAssist with monthly firm-wide and business unit/practice group EXCOM packs and FINCOM, analyse and provide insights on cost of sale, WIP write-down, headcount movement, rate leakage, etc.Assist in the preparation of financial reporting with analysis as requested by practice group leaders and provide continuous supportAssist in preparation of billing schedules for before and at month end to analyse estimates and actual billingsIdentify and initiate system improvements with IT for reporting and test recommended solutions by partnering with IT
