About the job Business Optimisation AnalystKey purpose:You will form part of our greater Onboarding Fleet, consisting of Operations, Engineering and Product.Duties and responsibilities:Review monthly reconciliations performed by the Operations Team and provide training on areas of improvementDocument and review control weaknesses and vulnerabilities, preparing product requests, tasks and timelines for the various improvementsOwn the resolution of reporting discrepancies and anomalies within our bank accounts and provider balancesDrive automation and improvement of financial reporting and operational tasks within the Payments FleetAssist with forecasting and modelling of commercial terms with providers, as well as internal fee change proposalsReview internal and external communication processes and identify areas of improvementTrack and report losses incurred due to errors within the Payments function or customer correctionsReview delivery of banks and providers against Service Level Agreements and resolve any deviations with the Legal and Countries TeamsOversee the launch of new coins and liquidity pairs within the Payments functionHas a good understanding of core function (Financial aspects of Payment Operations)Works closely with Internal Audit, Risk and Continuous Improvement Teams on regular reviews of processes within PaymentsQualifications, skills and experience:Professional experience in accounting and reconciliationsProven experience driving improvements to business processesExperience in a high transactional volume environment preferredA South African work permit if not a South African citizenHigh attention to detailApplies critical and creative thinking and to create efficient processesDelivers results that create the best experiences for our customersLeads change through entrepreneurial thinking, a strong sense of responsibility and a very high level of integrityExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong team playerFriendly, transparent, articulate and driven to succeedTakes ownership of own work.Adaptability (able to shift direction as needed).Internet access at home and the ability to work remotely (Luno will provide successful candidates with suitable equipment to set them up for success)
